The Hot Dogs
The Hot Dogs is a project that born in Torino in 2014, inspired by the bands that were making people sweat on the dance floors in the 1940s 1950s and 1960s. The inner soul of the band engages people of all ages, offering them an amusing, lively and wild experience, with a sound always focused on the quality and beauty of the musical orchestration.
The Hot Dogs playfully rework the Soul, Swing, Rock and Roll and Funk repertoire of legends like Ray Charles, James Brown, Etta James and Wilson Pickett; they review songs from movie soundtracks like American Graffiti and The Blues Brothers, and rearrange contemporary Pop Music mostly in a Rhythm and Blues form. Over the years the band had played on many prestigious stages in the Italian regions of Piemonte, Lombardia, Liguria, Marche and Emilia Romagna, not only for festivals and clubs, but also for countless wedding and private parties.
The Hot Dogs trod the boards of Europe, performing in France, Austria, and recently in Switzerland, where they have played on the very well known stage of Montreux. The members of the band are all professional musicians, coming from a wide variety of popular bands in Italy like the Bluebeaters, Africa Unite, Statuto, Bandakadabra, The Chicless, The Fonz, and The Soulful Orchestra. The Hot Dogs are always on the go, and you can easily check them by listening to their live and studio recordings. Here attached are some links to their work:
